Simex awarded $600K contract for CPF parts
Simex was awarded a 600 thousand dollar contract to supply the Royal Canadian Navy with fluid pressure regulating valves.
The valves will be used on the gearing controls of the Canadian Patrol Frigates – also referred to as the Halifax Class Frigates.
The Royal Canadian Navy has 12 Halifax Class frigates, which are used extensively for both combat and humanitarian missions. All 12 ships are going through a refit and modernization program which has been underway since 2008.
