Simex rebrands to reflect its growth and industry leadership
Simex Defence is proud to launch its new brand to better reflect the company’s growth and industry leadership position.
For the past 20 years, we have grown to become the trusted name in defence and aerospace procurement. Today, we are the Number 1 supplier of defence contracts to the Canadian Department of National Defence. We clearly see ourselves as part of an integrated supply chain that relies on strong, ethical relationships so that we can deliver what our customers need, when they need it.
Our new logo and tagline bring this key element to light. The tagline “We are part of it” underlines the role – or the part – we play in our industry. Of course, we played on the word “part” because we supply aerospace and defence “parts”. In many cases, these parts have been rare or difficult to find, but we have proven to be very good at getting them.
The logo includes an orange triangle above the “X”. This symbolizes the “part” we play in the industry and also the parts we source for the exacting needs of our customers. In addition, the top of the “X” is the shape of a funnel that represents the care we take in selecting the right partners to work with.
